Karlye Behrman, LCSW

Karlye is a Licensed Certified Social Worker. She has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. She has always held a passion for working with people. She primarily focuses her practice on those seeking help to manage and reduce depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, and trauma. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, and Karlye went on to achieve a master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston in Texas.

 

Karlye is trained and uses Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is always seeking to learn and improve her techniques as a clinician.

 

Karlye has a wide range of experience working in various settings, including inpatient acute care, schools, and outpatient care providing services to children, adults, and families. She has a pleasant, fun, outgoing personality and strives to find empathetic connections within session. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children outdoors, gardening, and traveling. She is always up for new adventures and exploring the world around her.
